When to Repair Your Hearing Aids
Hearing aids are complicated devices that take time to get used to—usually at least four to six weeks. If have problems beyond the expected settling in process, such as an imperfect fit, feedback (such as a whistling noise), interference from other digital devices, or other indications that there is damage or a possible malfunction, give us a call.
We’re here to help with adjustments, programming, cleaning and repair. While you’re wearing the hearing aids, we will check your hearing again to see if further improvements are necessary. Having your hearing aids professionally adjusted and cleaned from time to time is an expected and important part of caring for your hearing aids. If a hearing aid is malfunctioning, we will help you get it fixed promptly. We can often do simple repairs right in the office. We will send hearing aids with significant damage back to the manufacturer to be repaired. We work with the most common hearing aid brands. We send your hearing aid by DHL or Federal Express so you get your hearing aids back fast.
A Loaner During Repair
While your hearing aids are repaired, we will offer you loaners. We offer a great selection of canal aids, behind-the-ear and in-the-ear devices for you to choose from. These instruments won’t sound or fit the same way as your personal hearing aids. But they can help you improve your hearing until your own hearing aids are back from repair.
